Big Comfy Bed

It's Monday and I'm exhausted.  Sleep was not cooperating last night.  I could fall asleep on my keyboard right now.  There is no thought pattern to anything I am typing right now.  How great does this bed look?

Light My Candle

Now that Greg and I have bought a house (oh the overwhelming feelings have taken over!), I have to think about all the decorating that needs to happen.  All those rooms!  They have to be different, but have to flow together.  This is quite stressful.  For one thing, candles are a must in our house!  I love them.  They are perfect for any occasion.  A nice dinner party, romantic lighting, when the power goes out, to fill your house with yummy smells or just because!  And just because is my favorite!  It's more of a "decorating" just because reason, but none the less, candles are mandatory.  There are so many ways you can display them - the ideas are unlimited!  I found Cool Candle Designs on the HGTV website and really loved some of the ideas that are shared.  Take a look and light up your life with a little flame!  Cheers.

Now that I am a proud owner of an iPhone, there are so many possibilities!  All these apps keep me busy 24/7...slight addiction.  I have been trying to grab some really good pictures since the camera is decent on this thing.  I then came across some cool picture editing applications.  Well, I just wanted to share some of my favs with you.  Follow me on instagram (alid246). Time For A Spot of Tea

I came across this fantastic store called Mackenzie-Childs and it makes me want to dress up in a beautiful sun dress, set up a well decorated table in a garden and throw a tea party!  I imagine "Alice In Wonderland" would be the theme.  There would be petite sweets, an assortment of teas, beautiful table settings and tons of fun.  The artisans at MacKenzie-Childs are amazing!  The designs are phenomenal and I would not be able to pick just one.  I'll take them all! Make A Statement

I love aprons!!  And now that I have announced my love for them, I will tell you why.  They are so fun, flirty and they add some spice to your cooking and baking.  Who wouldn't want any of that in their day to day life?  To be more practical, they protect your clothing from that oil splatter, flour hand prints and splashes of water.  There are so many different patterns out there too.  Seriously, you could find an apron for every occasion and every outfit.  I'm in heaven!  Cheers!

Sprinkle Me With Water

In light of Spring and the weather actually cooperating a little more, I thought I would focus on watering cans!  Flowers brighten the world and in order for the world to be bright, the flowers need to be healthy and hydrated.  Why not keep them looking their absolute best with these beautiful watering cans? 

If your thumb is more brown then green, perhaps use the watering cans as delightful decoration on a porch or deck.  There really are countless ways to use them!  I personally think watering cans make a really cool flower pot.  Stay creative and keep those gardens beautiful!

Hey Mr. DJ...and Computer Genius!

I thought I would do my due diligence as a wife and give a little promotion to my husband.

Fresh Start

Well, it's been a while so I figured I would start it off slow and with some bright, happy, wonderful fruit!  The weather was so beautiful today it inspired me to look up some really great pictures of 3 amazing fruits: strawberries, blueberries and raspberries.  You can't go wrong with these 3 and I suggest everyone go grab some!  Perhaps I will have a bowl of them right now.  Cheers!
